Statement to Budget rebuilds the .qbo from the PDF: every line is extracted, tagged as CREDIT or DEBIT, checked against the statement totals, and written as OFX 1.02 with the Intuit tags QuickBooks Desktop insists on. Descriptions go in NAME, the category in MEMO, and each row gets a stable FITID so a second import cannot double anything.
OFX 1.02 Web Connect (.qbo) with INTU.BID for QuickBooks Desktop
Plain OFX for Sage, MYOB, Xero, FreshBooks, Wave and Zoho Books
Stable FITIDs so re-imports are skipped, not duplicated
Debits and credits reconciled to the statement totals
Scanned, password-protected and bilingual statements supported
QuickBooks Online CSV, Xero CSV, Excel and plain CSV from the same menu
How it works

One statement or a batch. Enter the password if the bank set one. 3 pages are free with no account.
2. Check the rows
Every line appears with date, description, amount and direction so you can eyeball it against the PDF.
3. Download the .qbo
Pick QuickBooks Desktop (.qbo) from the export menu and import it as a Web Connect file.
Frequently asked questions
What is a QBO file?
A .qbo file is QuickBooks Web Connect: the OFX bank-download format with Intuit's bank id tags. QuickBooks Desktop imports it from File → Utilities → Import → Web Connect Files and treats the rows like a bank download, including matching against existing transactions.
Will re-importing duplicate transactions?
No. Each row carries a stable FITID derived from its date, amount and description, so QuickBooks recognises a row it has already imported and skips it.
What about QuickBooks Online?
QuickBooks Online does not import .qbo. Use the QuickBooks Online CSV export (4-column: Date, Description, Credit, Debit) from the same menu.
Does the QBO include deposits and fees?
Every line on the statement: deposits, transfers, fees, interest, refunds and purchases, each as a CREDIT or DEBIT with the statement date. Totals are checked against the statement before download.
How much does it cost?
3 pages are free with no signup. One statement unlocks for $4.99. Pro is $29/month for 400 pages; Bookkeeper is $79/month for 1,500 pages with API access.
